Professional Development
I’m intentional about learning from clinicians and researchers who’ve shaped how we understand change. So I attended conferences and professional trainings, including ABCT and the Psychotherapy Networker Symposium, where I had the chance to meet and connect with experts, such as Dr.Judith Beck and Dr. Diana Fosha. I use these spaces to sharpen my clinical thinking, stay grounded in evidence-based practice, and learn what’s emerging across modalities.
I’m also American Red Cross–certified in Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED and currently pursuing additional therapeutic modality training.
Research
At NYU’s Social Perception Action and Motivation (SPAM) Lab, I studied how stereotypes and social perception shape motivation, identity, and belonging—especially for adolescents.
I also led an independent, school-sponsored project, “Empowering Diverse Adolescent Leaders,” with SPAM Lab Director Dr. Emily Balcetis. We designed a workshop to challenge leadership stereotypes and strengthen belonging among minority adolescents, then evaluated its impact using brief pre/post measures of mood, growth mindset, and leadership belonging.
